The symposium on the regularization of the logistics support brigade of
the PLA reserve force was held in Dezhou, Shandong Province, on
December7-8.
The General Logistics Department of the PLA sponsored the symposium for
the purpose of strengthening the building up of logistics power of the
reserve force so as to promote the preparations for future military
struggles. At the symposium the participants summarized and exchanged
experience in building the reserve logistics support brigades and they
were also organized to visit a reserve logistics support brigade in
Shandong Province, where they observed the results of regularization drive
of the brigade and watched a demonstration of opening up a field command
post.
The participants also had a penetrating discussion on some key and
difficult issues related to the building of the logistics power of the
reserve force. In addition, the symposium also made arrangements for the
building up of the logistics power of the reserve force in the coming
period.

为加强预备役后勤力量建设，促进军事斗争准备落实，总后勤部组织召开了这次会议。会议总结交流了预备役后勤保障旅建设经验，组织观摩了山东某预备役后勤保障旅正规化建设成果和野战指挥所开设演示。与会人员深入研究了预备役后勤力量建设中的重点难点问题。会议还部署了今后一个时期预备役后勤力量建设任务。
