The seminar on the publication of On National Cultural
Security, a book written by Cao Zelin, vice chairman of the Chinese
National Culture Promotion Society and published by the Military Sciences
Publishing House, was held in the Academy of Military Sciences of the PLA
on Nov 26. The related experts and scholars from the Publicity Department
of the CPC Central Committee, the Party School of the CPC Central
Committee, the Academy of Military Sciences, the National Defense
University and the Chinese National Culture Promotion Society attended the
seminar.
From the strategic height of national cultural security, the book
On National Cultural Security expounded the basic situations and
tasks of the Chinese cultural security in the 21st century, as well as the
challenges faced by the Chinese cultural security and the fundamental
strategies China should adopt to safeguard her cultural security. The
Experts and scholars attending the seminar held that while the Chinese
national culture carry out exchanges with foreign cultures and intermingle
with them, it is inevitably subjected itself to the impact of alien
cultures or even power cultures. So the task to safeguard national
cultural security is colossal. Through years of accumulation and
exploration, the author takes the Chinese cultural security as an
innovative theme to objectively reflect the situations and tasks of the
Chinese cultural security with abundant and accurate data and vivid facts,
thus the book has very high academic value.

由中华民族文化促进会副主席曹泽林撰著、军事科学出版社出版的《国家文化安全论》一书出版座谈会，11月26日在军事科学院举行。
《国家文化安全论》从国家文化安全战略的高度，论述了21世纪中国文化安全的基本形势任务，以及文化安全所面临的挑战和维护我国文化安全的基本战略。与会专家学者认为，中华民族文化在与国际文化交流、融合的同时，也面对外来文化和强权文化的影响，维护国家文化安全责任重大。作者经过多年的积累和探索，以当前我国文化安全为创新点，以丰富翔实的资料、准确生动的事实，客观地反映了我国文化安全所面临的形势和任务，具有很高的学术价值。中宣部、中央党校、军事科学院、国防大学和中华民族文化促进会有关专家学者出席座谈会。（郭瑞宏、刘有飞）
