The reporters learned from the report meeting on the progression of
major scientific research projects in Xi'an Satellite Measuring and
Control Center that a group of major spaceflight measuring and control
advance research projects undertaken by the center has kicked off in
succession and made breakthroughs.
Regarding orbit calculation, thanks to its cooperation with Nanjing
University and National University of Defense Technology, the center has
successfully solved such key technical problems successively as staying on
orbit and the precise control of orbit re-entry, bringing about magnitude
breakthroughs in the accuracy of orbit control calculation of the
geostationary satellites and near-earth satellites.
Setting its sight on meeting the demands of key national projects such
as "Moon Exploration Project" and with an eye on the long-term plan of
deep space exploration including future space exploration on moon, the
center has constantly doubled their efforts in advance research on
perspective and key technological subjects. In July this year, the center
successfully held a project appraisal meeting for exact orbit
calculation technology for moon-exploration spacecraft in Beijing, receiving full affirmations
from authoritative experts in the spaceflight circle and confirming that
the center is capable of identifying and controlling the exact deep space
orbit around the moon.

本报西安10月31日电 孙海霞、记者赵波报道:记者今天从西安卫星测控中心重大科研项目进展情况汇报会上了解到,该中心承担的一批重大航天测控预研项目,已陆续展开并取得了突破。
轨道计算上,该中心与南京大学、国防科大等院校合作,先后攻克了轨道维持、返回轨道精密控制等关键技术,使我国同步和近地卫星的轨道控制计算精度实现了量级上的突破。
紧盯"嫦娥"工程等国家重点项目需求,该中心瞄准未来航天奔月等深空探测远景规划,不断加大前瞻性关键技术课题的预研力度。今年7月,该中心在北京成功组织了《奔月航天器精密轨道计算技术》项目评审会,受到了我国航天界权威专家的充分肯定,确认该中心具备深空绕月精密轨道确定与控制能力。
