The ceremony of book donation of Memories of
My Father, Nie Rongzhen, written by Nie Li, the daughter of Marshal
Nie Rongzhen, was held on October 29 in Beijing. Li Jinai, member of the
Central Military Commission and director of the General Political
Department of the PLA, and Chen Bingde, member of the Central Military
Commission and director of the General Armaments Department of the PLA,
attended the ceremony.
The publication of Memories of My Father, Nie
Rongzhen is one of the major events marking the 70th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese Red
Army's Long March and the 50th anniversary
of the establishment of China's space undertaking. As Nie Rongzhen's
daughter, Nie Li, the author of this book, gives a vivid account of Nie
Rongzhen's military career in those years of military struggle and his
fighting course of dedication and devotion in peacetime to the scientific
and technological undertaking of national defense, especially the "Two
Bombs and One Satellite"---the atomic bomb, hydrogen bomb and artificial
satellite program.

《山高水长--回忆父亲聂荣臻》一书的出版，是对红军长征胜利70周年和中国航天事业创建50周年的重要纪念。作者聂力以女儿的视角，真切讲述了聂帅戎马倥偬的战斗岁月，为国防科技事业特别是"两弹一星"殚精竭虑、鞠躬尽瘁的奋斗历程。 |
