The reporter learned from the Academy of Military Sciences of the PLA
that the academy had yielded brilliant results in the research on the
history of the Long March of the Red Army. So far, several monographs on
the Long March has come off the press, of which, the book The Complete
History of the Long March of the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red
Army is listed in the key books to be published during the
11th Five-Year Plan period according to national books
publishing program, and it is also listed in the key books to be published
to mark the 70th anniversary of the victory of the Long March
of the Red Army by the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee.
The Military History Research Institute of the Academy of Military
Sciences of the PLA has yielded fruitful results in theoretical research
in recent years. It has published a batch of works including The
Military History of the PLA (the Volume of the Agrarian Revolutionary
War), The Complete History of the Long March of the Chinese Workers' and
Peasants' Red Army, Understanding of the Long March, Records of the Long
March, Who is the Earliest to Give an Oral Account of the Long March:
Understanding of Rare Editions of the Long March History of the Red Army
Written in the 1930s, and Important Strategic Decisions Made
During the Long March. According to the experts, based on the
original archives of the Long March of the Red Army, the related
historical documents and the recollections of the persons directly
involved, and buttressed by the newest research achievements of the Party
history and the Army history, these works intend to reproduce the history
in an accurate, vivid and convincing way, strive to reflect every major
action of the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army during the Long
March objectively and impartially and try to present to the general
reading public a panoramic historical view of the 10,000 Li Long
March of the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army, thus all these works
have very high academic value.

本报北京10月16日电 刘强报道：今天，笔者在军事科学院了解到，该院对红军长征史研究成果斐然，到目前为止，已有多部长征题材专著先后问世。其中，《中国工农红军长征全史》是国家"十一五"重点图书出版规划项目，并列入中宣部"红军长征胜利70周年"重点图书。
军事科学院军事历史研究所近年来理论研究取得丰硕成果，已先后推出《中国人民解放军战史》（土地革命战争卷）、《中国工农红军长征全史》、《解读长征》、《长征记》、《谁最早口述长征：20世纪30年代红军长征史珍本解读》、《长征中的重大战略抉择》等一批著作。据专家介绍，这批著作以红军长征原始档案及相关历史文献和当事人回忆材料为基础，以当前党史和军史最新研究成果为创新点，以准确、生动、有说服力地再现历史为目标，力求客观、公正地反映中国工农红军长征途中的每一次重大行动，尽力为读者展现中国工农红军万里长征的全景史实，具有很高的学术价值。 |
