Up to late September, 230 private enterprises in Zhejiang Province
have set up armed forces departments in their enterprises. This endeavor
has put an end to such a situation in which the private enterprises had
militia but no armed forces departments, and has promoted coordinated
development of the armed forces work and the production in these
enterprises.
Zhejiang is a province where the private economy has been developing
vigorously. Several years ago, nearly 50% of the private enterprises in
this province had set up militia organizations, but not a single
enterprise had ever set up the armed forces department. In order to turn
around such a situation, the army and the civilian governments jointly
worked out the new measures, which stipulated that large private
enterprises, with perfect Party organizations, good economic benefits,
high sci-tech contents and military and civilian purposes compatible with
each other, must establish armed forces departments. Currently, the armed
forces departments in private enterprises account for over 60% of the
total armed forces departments in the enterprises and industries in
Zhejiang Province.
According to sources, since last year, through the grouping of their
scientific and technological strengths, the armed forces departments in
private enterprises have set up over 100 militia specialized technical
elements, which have accomplished more than 20 military exercise tasks,
including support-the-front combat mission and city air defense drills.

孙志龙、特约通讯员左贵东报道：截止9月下旬，浙江省已有230家民营企业挂上了武装部的牌子。此举改变了民营企业有民兵无武装机构的局面，促进了武装工作和企业生产的协调发展。
几年前，在民营经济蓬勃发展的浙江省，虽然有近50％的民营企业建立了民兵组织，但没有一家设立武装机构。为扭转这种局面，军地出台措施，规定凡是党组织健全、企业规模大、经济效益好、科技含量高、军民兼容性强的民营企业必须建立武装部。目前，民营企业武装部占全省企业和行业系统武装部总数的60％以上。
据了解，去年以来，各民企武装部通过对科技力量进行编组，先后组建了100多支科技含量较高的民兵专业技术分队，出色完成了参战支前、城市防空等20多项演练任务。
