On Oct.10, the reporters learned from the
working conference convened by the related department of the PLA General
Logistics Department that the 2nd National
Agriculture Census in the army and the Armed Police Force kicked off on
the same day. The newly established Leading Group and the Office of the
PLA for the 2nd National Agriculture
Census have officially begun to function, laying out specific census plans
for agriculture census in the army and the Armed Police Force and
organizing the implementation of the census tasks.
According to the stipulations of the State
Council's No. 473 Order signed by Premier Wen Jiabao, the census of
agricultural production units belonging to the army and the Armed Police
Force shall be organized and implemented respectively by the army and the
Armed Police Force. The leading official of the related department of the
PLA General Logistics Department told the reporters that as the time is
pressing, in the face of such a heavy and difficult mission, the top
priority for the army and the Armed Police Force right now is to set up
agriculture census organizations as well as a high-quality census
contingent as quick as possible so as to ensure the smooth accomplishment
of the agriculture census task according to the scheduled time.

本报北京10月10日电 眭艺、记者范炬炜报道：记者从总后有关部门今天召开的工作会议获悉，军队、武警参加第二次全国农业普查工作自今日起全面启动，新成立的军队第二次全国农业普查领导小组及办公室正式开始履行职责，布置军队和武警部队普查方案并组织实施普查工作。
根据温家宝总理签署的第473号国务院令的有关规定，军队、武警部队所属农业生产单位的农业普查工作，由军队、武警部队分别负责组织实施。总后有关部门负责人告诉记者，面对时间紧、任务重、难度大的现状，全军和武警部队的当务之急，是要尽快建立健全农业普查机构，建设一支高素质的普查队伍，坚决按时完成农业普查任务。 |
